My story

From a young age, I knew that I wanted to be a painter. From as early as I can remember myself, I felt love and passion for art. After my army service, life led me to other professional fields. At the age of 26, the fire was rekindled in me and I decided that art needs to be part of my life in one way or another. In this way, I came to learn industrial design with the aim to create practical art, art that is accessible in our daily lives. At the end of my studies, I created my first design titled “Leaflow,” which came to light in cooperation with “Peleg Design,” and was sold in both Europe and in Israel. Throughout my adult life, I have worked professionally in many different fields, such as puppet making, sculpture, tattoos, makeup, and more. Painting has always been part of my core being. I never studied art formally, and I have always considered myself to be an autodidact painter. In 2020, I embarked on a journey of self discovery. I felt that I needed to rethink the path that I was on, and I traveled to Mexico. There, I underwent a journey of introspection. Things began fitting together in my mind, and I understood what my passion and goal is in life. When I came back to Israel, I entered my home studio and began to create. Over the years, my creations have taken on different styles, such as realistic, figurative, and abstract. I moved back and forth between all of the styles, and sometimes I combined them. My painting style always came from an intuitive place, according to the period in my life in which I was painting. Art for me is a therapeutic tool that gives me a place for calm, freedom, and a way to cope. I felt that I could have my true voice heard without a filter, without fear, in the most honest and exposed way.
